Watch Elvis Presley’s Last vacation in Hawaii – March 1977 (I’ve never seen these photographs before)
Elvis Presley’s last vacation in Hawaii took place in March 1977, just a few months before his death on August 16th of the same year. He was accompanied by his girlfriend at the time, Ginger Alden, and his close friend, Jerry Schilling.
During his time in Hawaii, Elvis stayed at the Hilton Hawaiian Village in Honolulu and also visited the nearby island of Maui. He enjoyed spending time relaxing on the beach and swimming in the ocean, as well as playing racquetball and spending time with his friends.
However, Elvis’s health was already in decline at this point, and he was reportedly taking a variety of prescription drugs to manage his various health issues. He suffered from a number of medical problems, including high blood pressure, glaucoma, and an enlarged colon.
Despite his health problems, Elvis continued to perform concerts and make appearances in the months leading up to his death. He was a beloved figure in the music industry and is still remembered today as the “King of Rock and Roll.”
